Connect Knoon to Facebook and Instagram
Connect a customer-facing chat box to Facebook Messenger or Instagram Business Chat. These channels are for business conversations and do not include a personal assistant.

Before you start, make sure you have a published Facebook Page and Facebook access that lets you manage its messages.
- Go to Knoon > Knowledge > Knowledge Bases.
- Select the knowledge base.
- In Chat Boxes, click the More button on a chat box.
- Click Integrate Facebook Messenger, then press Continue.
- Sign in to Facebook with an account that can manage the Facebook Page you want to connect.
- Review the requested permissions and continue. Keep Page messaging access enabled so Knoon can receive and reply to conversations.
- Select the Facebook Page to connect. If you manage more than one eligible Page, Knoon will ask you to choose one.
- Confirm the connection and wait for Knoon to finish setup.
- Your agent is now ready to reply to customers in Facebook Messenger.
Customers start the conversation by messaging your Facebook Page or Instagram professional account. Knoon then replies through the agent assigned to your chat box.
