Xero Invoice Creator

Create customer sales invoices in Xero from invoice details or uploaded documents.

What It Does

1. Collects invoice details through the Create Xero Invoice workbox.
2. Uses Xero Invoice Intake to extract invoice details from the provided information or document.
3. Checks that all required information is available before creating the invoice.
4. Retrieves the available Xero accounts and tax rates.
5. Finds the customer in Xero using their name or email.
6. Creates a new Xero contact if no matching customer is found.
7. Selects the appropriate account and tax treatment for each line item.
8. Creates the invoice in Xero as a DRAFT by default.
9. Attaches the original invoice document when provided.

Expected Input

Enter the invoice details or upload an invoice document. Information may include:

• Customer name and email
• Invoice date and due date
• Currency, such as SGD or USD
• Reference or purchase order number
• Line item descriptions
• Quantity and unit price
• Tax/VAT/GST treatment
• Account code or account hint, if known
• Invoice document or supporting attachment
