Knoon for Microsoft Teams
Install Knoon, ask knowledge base questions, and run workflows without leaving Teams.
Step 1
Install Knoon in Microsoft Teams
Connect Knoon to your organization so your team can start using it right away.
- Open Microsoft Teams and go to Apps.
- Find Knoon, then select it and click Add.
- Click Open to start a direct message with Knoon.
- Ask Knoon to connect, then click the Sign in button.
- Select your organization and press Continue.
- If you do not see your organization, ask your admin to invite you.
Step 2
Ask knowledge base questions in Teams
Get fast answers without digging through the knowledge base.
- Open a chat with Knoon and type your question.
- Knoon searches your knowledge base and replies with the best answer.
- Use it for HR policies, guidelines, or team-specific info.
- Keep everything inside Teams so your team stays in flow.
Step 3
Add a Knoon workflow to a Teams channel
Integrate an automation workflow directly into the channel where work happens.
- Open the channel where you want the workflow.
- In the message box, type @knoon add a workflow, then press Post.
- Click Sign in and log in to your organization.
- Select your organization, add the work trigger name, and press Continue.
- Choose the workflow you want, then click Connect.
- Your team can now trigger it in the channel.
Step 4
Run a Knoon workflow in Teams
Trigger workflows with a simple message and track progress in-thread.
- Open the channel where the workflow was added.
- Type @knoon followed by your task, then press Enter.
- Knoon matches your request and asks for permission.
- Reply with @knoon yes to begin.
- Watch updates in the same thread as it works.
- Final output posts directly in the channel.
