Knoon for Microsoft Teams
Install Knoon, ask knowledge base questions, and run workflows without leaving Teams.
Step 1
Install Knoon in Microsoft Teams
Connect Knoon to your organization so your team can start using it right away.
  1. Open Microsoft Teams and go to Apps.
  2. Find Knoon, then select it and click Add.
  3. Click Open to start a direct message with Knoon.
  4. Ask Knoon to connect, then click the Sign in button.
  5. Select your organization and press Continue.
  6. If you do not see your organization, ask your admin to invite you.
Step 2
Ask knowledge base questions in Teams
Get fast answers without digging through the knowledge base.
  1. Open a chat with Knoon and type your question.
  2. Knoon searches your knowledge base and replies with the best answer.
  3. Use it for HR policies, guidelines, or team-specific info.
  4. Keep everything inside Teams so your team stays in flow.
Step 3
Add a Knoon workflow to a Teams channel
Integrate an automation workflow directly into the channel where work happens.
  1. Open the channel where you want the workflow.
  2. In the message box, type @knoon add a workflow, then press Post.
  3. Click Sign in and log in to your organization.
  4. Select your organization, add the work trigger name, and press Continue.
  5. Choose the workflow you want, then click Connect.
  6. Your team can now trigger it in the channel.
Step 4
Run a Knoon workflow in Teams
Trigger workflows with a simple message and track progress in-thread.
  1. Open the channel where the workflow was added.
  2. Type @knoon followed by your task, then press Enter.
  3. Knoon matches your request and asks for permission.
  4. Reply with @knoon yes to begin.
  5. Watch updates in the same thread as it works.
  6. Final output posts directly in the channel.
